Laser Fab Engineers’ Journey to Excellence with HSG Fiber Laser Machines

Hello, my name is Shaheer Umrao Balashankar. I am the owner of Laser Fab Engineers, a company I’ve been running in Rabale for the past 12 years. At Laser Fab Engineers, we specialize in laser cutting, fabrication, bending, and laser welding.

We work closely with many businesses. For sheet metal laser cutting, we also assist with fabrication work. Over the years, Laser Fab Engineers has played a crucial role in supplying change parts for pharmaceutical companies and tablet packaging machines.

In the lab industry, we provide solutions for lab furniture. Our advanced laser cutting processes are capable of handling a wide range of materials including stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass, as well as non-metals like acrylic, PVC, and wood.  Essentially, we offer complete cutting solutions under one roof. 

 Earlier, we operated with older-generation laser machines. However, as technology evolved, fiber laser technology emerged—revolutionizing the industry. With this shift, high-performance machines started entering the Indian market, bringing affordability and scalability.

In 2021, we connected with Mr. Rupesh Sir and his elder brother, Mr. Rakesh Sir, who provided us with incredible guidance. They explained the advantages of fiber laser technology, especially when paired with advanced bending machines.

For example, while the standard recommendation for laser cutting is up to 16 mm using a 3 kW machine, our skilled operators were able to cut up to 20 mm consistently. Based on our experience, I would recommend investing in at least 5 to 6 machines. The response and performance have been outstanding, especially with machines from HSG.

The HSG machine truly transformed our operations. I have a dedicated team, including our skilled operators, and a group of hardworking helpers who support us every step of the way.

I am especially grateful to Rakesh Sir. His support after the COVID-19 lockdown, when I had lost direction, gave me the clarity and confidence to move forward. Thanks to him and the entire team, we received timely machine delivery and excellent support.

Special thanks to their service team, who assisted us: Amit Vishwakarma, Gautam, and Dhananjay Sir. Mr. Godse, who works in their laser welding team, has also been incredibly supportive. Whether on-site or over the phone, their team has always been ready to assist us, even when I couldn’t spare time to speak to my own engineers.
